In January, Reuben, Alli, and Dolly moved into a quirky 1926 house in their favorite neighborhood (West Asheville) with the backyard of Dolly’s dreams. The house is sure to be a true labor of love, and they feel incredibly grateful to be part of Asheville’s warm and eclectic community.

GETTING AROUND
RENTAL CARS
Given that tourism will be at it’s highest in the fall and rideshares aren’t always the most reliable, we recommend renting a car for maximum flexibility. Especially if you are going to explore Asheville outside of the wedding festivities (we highly recommend)! We highly recommend driving or hiking the Blueridge Parkway, and other incredible nature nearby.
UBER + LYFT (IMPORTANT NOTE)
Please note that Uber + Lyft are available around Asheville but not as saturated or reliable as other / larger cities. This is a busy time of year, so please account for this and factor in at least 15+ minutes for your ride to arrive.
LOCAL RIDESHARE
Local Asheville rideshare options can be equally (or more) reliable than Uber + Lyft. Please consider using them and supporting the local community.

A NOTE ON

Fall is the busiest season in Asheville—and for good reason (visitors come to see the stunning foliage). It’s the peak of tourism, which is especially important this year as the city continues to recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Helene last fall, which hurt the WNC economy.
As a result, (ALL) lodging prices will be higher than usual during this time, as well as crowds for Asheville’s most popular sights. We recommend budgeting accordingly and considering group accommodations where possible. If you need any support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
